Update on our life in general...

I just have to say a huge "CONGRATULATIONS"  to Keith for finishing his online class strong!  He received all 100 points for the total class.  I am so proud of you, Keith.  Your hard work paid off.  You were able to focus and learn more about the subject of autism.  This will definitely aid you when you are working with these students when you sub in those classes.  "To God be the glory great things He has done!"

In other news, Keith did receive a communication from Michigan Works last week they are looking to have another class possibly the end of June first of July.  They have asked Keith if he would be available to instruct the class.  He is looking for some work for a summer job and or a part time job to go along with his subbing. He also got a lead on a part-time job which he has to find out more regarding the position.  He has these two possibilities, praise the Lord.  We are praying for the Lord's leading for a possible job for fall as well.

Just a prayer request to remember to pray for Keith tomorrow.  He will have his endoscopy tomorrow afternoon.  Even though he wasn't feeling 100% today, he subbed today.  Thankfully, there was a 2-hour fog delay at the school.  He was able to get a little extra rest.

MY DAD

To give you an update on Dad, he was transferred to Tendercare for his rehabilitation.  The goal was to have him get the physical therapy that he needs in order to regain his strength so he can go home.

Keith drove Mom and my sister up to Ludington, the evening Dad was transferred.  My sister had planned to stay for a few weeks with Mom to give her support.  Keith decided to stop by Tendercare to check on Dad.  He was not adjusting well and had spiked a 103 fever; long story short, Keith decided to stay the night near his bed and make sure he didn't fall.  Keith ended up staying then the remainder of the week to lend a hand to Mom and my sister.  (He always seems to know the right questions to ask at the right time.)

My brother-in-law was coming back from the Detroit area from work appointments, so he stopped by and picked me up so I could go up to Ludington, too.  Keith and I stayed until Sunday.

Please pray for Dad.  He's lost some weight and doesn't have an appetite.  He also needs to be strong enough for his physical therapy.

Last night, Mom and my sister suggested they take him to the emergency room to get checked out, as he was running a temperature again.  He has the onset of pneumonia.  Please pray for him and Mom.  This has been rough on her, too.  We are so thankful that my sister is with her for a couple of weeks to help support her.  Pray for strength for my sister as well.  It can be physically and emotionally exhausting.

Our special thanks to our friends and family who keep us in their prayers.  We know people are praying as there is no way we would be able to make it through.
