Christmas Highlights...
This little Christmas tree welcomed Andy and Jessica upstairs in their Christmas guest suite. Keith put it up and decorated for them which included some of Jessica's ornaments from years gone by. They absolutely loved it!
Saturday, Dec. 22, we met Mark and Denise at Noel Restaurant in Jamestown for a Christmas dinner. We had a nice time of fellowship together and also enjoyed a delicious meal.
After the Christmas Eve service at Calvary Church
What a blessing to be able to worship together and celebrate our Savior's birth!
Christmas afternoon, we hosted dinner for Steve and Pat Marquardt, Dad and Mom, Andy and Jess and Keith and myself. A special thanks to Jessica for the beautiful table decorations. We all enjoyed a delicious meal and wonderful fellowship together.
Christmas Eve, Keith and Jess made
appetizers and snacks.
Christmas morning we exchanged our wonderful
gifts. God is SO good!
We had a wonderful family time of loving on our kids
while they were home.
Our prayer for this year, a full time job for Keith
and good health and blessings for the entire family.
Other news....
Keith has obtained his sub permit. He was able to substitute in a third grade class out in Allendale before Christmas for a half day. This coming week, he has two days scheduled, so far, and hoping for more jobs in the coming weeks.
He did hear back from Michigan Works people. So far, they do not have enough qualified people for another class, but they hope to in another couple of months. When they do get enough people, they will certainly contact Keith to see if he's still interested in taking the class. They were very pleased with how it worked out last time and said they would like him to do it again. Just keep praying...
Yesterday, a dear friend of ours called and told Keith about a possible paraprofessional job at a charter school in town. It would be for the rest of this school year only. Please pray for wisdom for Keith. He wants to do what would be best for us and also what is best for him regarding his possibility of finding a teaching position for next school year. We certainly appreciate your continued prayers for us.
Marsha has been blessed to be able to work some extra hours in her job. She still is loving working from home.
